Michelle Hanson
Crafting graphic and meaningful everyday experiences.
Hey there, my name is Michelle Hanson and I'm a freelance graphic designer based in Orange County, California. Over the past few years I have worked with a variety of local small businesses and non-profits, crafting logos and graphics, exploring packaging, and developing print or web-based marketing material. It’s been awesome to be able to assist brands from their genesis to beyond - as well as translate an idea into the perfect visual.
In college I originally studied English Literature and the History of Art at the University of California, Berkeley. But years later, found my way back to design as a return student at Fullerton College. While at Fullerton, my design approach was influenced and integrated by taking a variety of courses within the Art, Print, and Computer Science departments. My work has been featured both in and as campus marketing material, and one piece in particular was honored as "Best of Show" at the Fullerton College Annual Student Art Exhibition in 2019.
When I'm not immersed in a project, you can find me driving around looking for vintage furniture. On the weekends, I'm usually somewhere along the west coast working as an Alaska Airlines flight attendant. I enjoy flat graphic posters, collecting vinyls, and checking out the tide pools in Newport Beach.
